Lindhaus Diamante Vacuum Cleaner
Review of the Lindhaus Diamante Vacuum Cleaner
The Lindhaus Diamante Vacuum Cleaner is an upright vacuum made by Lindhaus. The series includes two models: the Diamante 300 and the Diamante 380. The 380 offers a wider cleaning path. Its brush width and base width are about three inches longer than the 300.
Both models are versatile machines. They function as a traditional upright vacuum, an electric broom, a dry carpet cleaner, and an above-floor cleaning tool. Prices vary slightly. The Diamante 300 sells for around $880, while the Diamante 380 costs about $900.
Lindhaus Diamante Vacuum Cleaner Features
Two-Motor System
The Diamante uses two separate motors, giving it strong, deep-cleaning power. You can run the motors together or individually. For example, when cleaning above the floor, you can shut off the brush motor but keep suction active.
The unit weighs about 18 pounds. Thanks to its smart weight-distribution system, the handle feels much lighter during use. This makes maneuvering easier, especially during long cleaning sessions.
Multi-Surface Cleaning
The Diamante also transitions easily between surfaces. With a quick switch, you can move from above-floor cleaning to carpet cleaning or hard floor vacuuming. This makes switching from room to room fast and seamless.
Dry Carpet Cleaning Capability
You can convert the Diamante into a dry carpet cleaning machine in just a few seconds. The converter snaps into place without the need for tools.
Dry carpet cleaning has several benefits. It creates less mess, adds no moisture, and reduces the chance of dust mites multiplying. It’s easier on your back because there’s no heavy water or bulky equipment to haul around. Lindhaus also sells the dry cleaning supplies separately.
Accessories and Attachments
The Diamante includes on-board accessories, which keeps your tools close at hand. You won’t need to dig through a closet to find them.
Both the 300 and 380 come with:
- Crevice tool
- Dusting brush
- Telescopic wand
- Deluxe stretch hose
Optional accessories include two roller covers:
- A felt roller cover for polishing hardwood floors
- A squeegee roller cover for other hard surfaces
Lindhaus Diamante Vacuum Cleaner Recommendations
Pros
Many Lindhaus users remain loyal because the brand consistently delivers reliability. The Diamante series is no exception. It includes hospital-grade filtration, and the final stage uses a 3M Filtrete micro-filter.
You can also upgrade the filtration system. Options include:
- An S-class HEPA filter
- A charcoal filter for odor control
Because it handles multiple cleaning tasks, the Diamante may replace other equipment. You may no longer need a separate floor polisher or a stand-alone carpet cleaner.
The vacuum is also designed with a low-profile body, making it easier to reach under furniture.
Cons
The biggest drawback is the price. While many owners say the cost is worth it, the vacuum may be more than you need if you only clean carpeted surfaces.
Another concern is suction strength. The vacuum produces 79 inches of water lift, which is adequate but not as strong as many heavy-duty models.
The 35-foot power cord is another common complaint. Although it’s longer than average, many users still want more length so they don’t have to switch outlets as often.
