Lindhaus Diamante Vacuum Cleaner Review
Review of Lindhaus Diamante Vacuum Cleaner
The Diamante is an upright vacuum manufactured by Lindhaus.
There are 2 models available in the Diamante series. The two models are the 300, and the 380.
The 380 has a wider path. The brush width and the base width of the 380, is about 3 inches longer than that on the 300 series.
These vacuums are capable of multi functioning. Their capabilities include carpet vacuuming, electric broom, dry cleaner, and above ground cleaning.
The 300 is priced at about $880, and the 380 is priced at about $900.
Lindhaus Diamante Features:
- Two Motors
- Multi Surface Cleaning
- Dry Carpet Cleaning
- Accessories
Two Motors:
For powerful, deep down cleaning, the Diamante series has 2 motors, that can work together, or separately, depending on the function.
For instance, if you are using the vacuum for above floor cleaning you can shut off the motor to the brush, but still have the suction motor running.
It is still a lightweight upright, weighing about 18 pounds, and has a weight distribution system that makes the handle weight very light.
Multi Surface Cleaning:
The Diamante series can handle cleaning multiple surfaces.
By simply flipping the switch the operator can change from above floor cleaning to vacuuming carpets or vacuuming hard surface floors.
This series is even capable of dry cleaning your floors.
Moving from one flooring type or surface to another is fast and easy.
Dry Carpet Cleaning:
Take a few seconds to install the Dry Cleaning System converter and your vacuum cleaner is converted to a dry cleaning machine for rugs and carpets.
Lindhaus has manufactured this conversion to be simple; no tools are even required.
Dry carpet cleaning is less messy, and doesn’t add any moisture to your carpets therefore reducing the chance of dust mites procreating.
Dry cleaning is also easier on your back; no heavy water to haul around, and no chance of messy accidents or spills.
Dry cleaning supplies are available from Lindhaus.
Accessories:
Accessories for the lindhaus diamante upright vacuum cleaners are of the on-board style, which is always a nice, convenient feature.
Your cleaning tools are with you when you need them, not stored in some dark corner of a closet.
The 300 and the 380 come with the usual crevice tool, dusting brush, telescopic cleaning wand, and deluxe stretch hose.
Available as an option are 2 different roller covers.
The felt roller cover is made for cleaning and polishing wood floors, and the roller cover with squeegee is for other hard floors.
Lindhaus Diamante Recommendations:
Pros:
In general, Lindhaus users seem to be loyal and satisfied with their purchase.
Like other Lindhaus vacuum’s, it has hospital quality filtration.
The last stage of the filtration system is a 3M Filtrete micro-filter.
It also has the ability to upgrade the filtration as the user deems necessary, there is an S-class HEPA filter available, and a charcoal filter to absorb offensive odors is also available.
The purchase of this vacuum might eliminate the need for other types of cleaning equipment.
You might never need an additional polisher for your wood floors, or another carpet cleaning machine.
The vacuum is constructed to be low profile; meaning you can get under low pieces of furniture.
Cons:
It’s a pricey vacuum. However, those who have purchased Lindhaus vacuums have found them to be reliable, and provide years of service.
As long as the user is going to use the features, this may be a worthwhile purchase.
If you are strictly looking for a vacuum for carpeted areas only, there might be other vacuums that would fit your needs and not be quite so expensive.
The suction may not be powerful enough for heavy duty cleaning.
The suction is measured at 79 inches of water lift – there are certainly other vacuums available that have a greater suction rating.
The power cord is too short for many users. Although it is 35 feet long, users would prefer a longer cord, so they are not changing outlets while trying to vacuum their home.
