KleenJet Mega V Steam Cleaner

Review of KleenJet Mega 500V Steam Cleaner

The KleenJet Mega V Steam Cleaner is built for home or light commercial use. It produces steam temperatures up to 310 degrees Fahrenheit and pressure up to 75 psi, making it a serious cleaning tool. This model also includes a wet/dry vacuum feature.

Like other KleenJet models from Daimer, the Mega 500V comes with a lifetime warranty on the boiler, a full 1-year warranty on parts and labor, and a 3-year warranty on parts. It’s priced at about $2,197.

The Mega 500V operates for approximately 4 hours per fill-up and weighs about 28 pounds.

KleenJet Mega V Steam Cleaner Features

  • Boiler Volume
  • Vacuum
  • HEPA Filtration and Water Filtration
  • Attachments

Boiler Volume

The Mega 500V includes a large 4-liter boiler, allowing about 4 hours of steam cleaning before refilling. The initial heating cycle takes around 15 minutes.

Vacuum

The Mega 500V dry vacuums carpets, hardwood floors, mattresses, and other surfaces. It removes pet hair, bed bugs, pollen, dust mites, dirt, and other allergens, collecting them in an extraction chamber filled with water for easy disposal. The Mega 500V also works as a wet vacuum cleaner. Because it extracts moisture during cleaning, it reduces the need for towels often required with other steam cleaners.

HEPA Filtration and Water Filtration

This model effectively removes allergens from your home. With both water and HEPA filtration, it captures allergens as small as 3 microns, helping create a cleaner environment. Disposal is simple and mess-free.

Attachments

The Mega 500V comes with about 40 standard attachments, not as a separate purchase. Key accessories include two heavy-duty extension rods, a ten-foot detachable steam hose, four squeegees, seven brushes, a grout cleaning tool, an upholstery nozzle, and a HEPA filter.

Two accessories are exclusive to Daimer Industries — a steam plunger for sanitizing bathroom sink drains and a steam scraper.

KleenJet Mega V Steam Cleaner Recommendations

Reviewers who purchased this product were amazed at how clean their surfaces looked afterward. Mattresses, upholstery, tile, grout, sinks, showers, and countertops came out spotless without using any chemicals — just steam. One reviewer also praised the stainless steel design for being easy to keep clean and polished, and noted the high quality of the accessories.

Users found the attachments heavy-duty and appreciated how lightweight and easy to maneuver the unit felt. The extra-long hose was another plus, since many steamers don’t include one and can feel awkward to use. Attachments such as hoses connect easily, and it’s clear when they lock into place.

One reviewer mentioned saving money by eliminating the need for cleaning chemicals and even reducing allergy and asthma medication costs.

A minor downside is the lack of a continuous refill feature. You’ll need to refill the tank and wait for it to reheat, which takes about 15 minutes and may cause brief downtime.
